1. MICROMOT steel collets are hardened and consequently possess consistent flexibility. They retain the necessary precision even after long periods of use. (Much better than unhardened, four-slotted collet chucks and those manufactured from brass or aluminium). 2. A better bed results from the fact that they possess three slots (these are much more difficult to produce than four slots). 3. This is important for the central clamping of shafts with small diameters. Fit all MICROMOT machines, excluding the engraver GG 12.
