Payment Methods
Credit card transactions over the internet raise the question of security of information. Beesleys Tools take this matter very seriously and the following is written to help you decide which is the best payment method for you.
We have successfully processed over 20,000 orders via the internet and regard our systems as safe as physically visiting our shop.
You can pay by Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Maestro, Solo and Electron.
PAYPAL is also accepted. Select option within checkout.
When paying for goods you have the option to
Send your payment card details via our secure processing server or
Phone or fax with your details.
Secure Online Processing
After entering your delivery details, you will be guided to our secure sever. The padlock icon will display in your browser showing that your details will be encrypted. You will be prompted to enter your card details including CVV number. (This is the last three digits on the signature strip on the back of the card).
We download your order and use a unique decryption method to recover your details.
When your order is ready to despatch, we process your card details through a point of sale system with Barclays Merchant Bank. This is the same as making a transaction in a high street store. The online terminal will authorise or refuse the transaction. We will contact you via phone or email should we require further clarification or information.
Fax or Phone with your details
If you select this option, you will be provided with a document detailing the products you have ordered. This will also be transmitted to our system.You can then phone (01793 525233) or fax (01793 532566) and we will complete your order.You can send a cheque (drawn on a UK bank) but there will be a delay of several business days before clearance and despatch of your order.
